Yvonne Anderson-Grady

Yvonne Anderson-Grady, 80, of Bloomfield, CT, passed away peacefully at her home, on June 7, 2023.

Affectionately known as Sis. Grady, she was born in Lakeland, FL, on November 26, 1942, to the late Charles Sr. and Opaulee (Holloman) Anderson of Plant City, FL.

Sis. Grady was a licensed hairdresser for more than 40 years.  She was a passionate baker, often baking treats for church Tea Parties or sending cakes off to family members for special occasions.

Besides her parents, Sis. Grady was predeceased by her sons: Melvin Jr., Terrance and Marcus Anderson, her brothers: Madison and Eugene Holloman, Charles Jr. and Keith Anderson, and a sister: Brenda Anderson.

She leaves to mourn her passing, sons: Rory of Hartford, CT, Troy (Paula) of Orlando, Courtney (Tamicka) Anderson of McDonough, GA and Paul Brightly of Bloomfield, CT.  Also, her sisters: Theresa Brown of Oakland Park, FL, Carrie L. Anderson of Plant City, FL and Margaret Reid of Lakeland, FL.

Sis. Grady had 13 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and other loved ones.

The family appreciates all kind gestures during this time of bereavement.
