Obituary
Katie Mae Goins Lattimore was born in Green Cove Springs, Florida, on January 25, 1945. She was the second of four daughters born to loving and dutiful parents, the late Reverend James C. Goins and Marie Goins. They instilled lessons that laid a solid foundation for the rest of Katie's life: keep God at the head, read your Bible, pray daily, and work hard.
Katie was the rock upon which her family was built. An unwavering prayer warrior for her entire family, she savored every moment of family time. The world lost a kind soul and mother on November 10, 2021. Now she is her family's guardian angel in Heaven who will eternally illuminate their paths with the spirit of her everlasting love.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her sister Lillie Mae, and her life partner, Billy.
