Kathleen Ann White (Bingham)

Kathleen Ann White, beloved mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister, passed away peacefully on May 17, 2025, at the age of 67.

Kathleen was born on April 9, 1958, in South Haven, Michigan, to the late Donald Bingham and the late Geneva Johnston (Ryan).  She was lovingly raised by Donald Johnston, who survives her and whom she proudly called "Dad."  Kathleen brought warmth, kindness, and laughter into every life she touched.

Kathy was a gifted crafter who found joy in making macrame, jewelry, and handbags, and especially loved helping create imaginative Halloween costumes for her grandchildren.  She had a rare gift for making people feel safe, comfortable, and truly loved.  Kathy welcomed everyone with open arms-and always had a warm hug ready for her people.

She was a helper, a listener, and a friend to all.  Her accepting heart and nonjudgmental nature made her someone others naturally turned to.  Above all, family was her greatest treasure.  She loved deeply, defended fiercely, and gave her whole heart to those she held dear.

One of the greatest examples of her loyalty and compassion was the seven years she dedicated to caring for her mother through dementia-walking every step of that difficult journey with patience, love, and unwavering strength.

She is survived by her devoted son, Ronald Isaac Barringer, and his wife Jennifer; and by her cherished grandchildren: Sydney Verra (husband Teddy Verra), Isaac Barringer, and Aidan Barringer, who lovingly called her Mema.

Kathleen is also survived by two dear brothers: Daniel Barry Bingham and his son Barry; and Donald Johnston Jr., with his wife Carol, and their children Grey Johnston and Eric Rapp (wife Erica).
