Howard Britt Weems Jr.

Mr. Howard Weems Jr., went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 8, 2024.  He was a resident of Plant City, FL.  Howard was born, January 1, 1956, in Tampa, FL, to the late Howard Weems Sr. and Marion Weems.  He graduated from Plant City High School in 1972.  Howard attended Bethune Cookman College.  The career path that was chosen by him, was in management.  He was a manager of Mr. Man's Stores, both in Tampa, FL and Lakeland, FL, for many years and finished his professional career as a manager at Green Tree of Tampa, FL.

Howard was preceded in death by his mother, Marion Weems, his father, Howard Weems Sr., and his brother, Norman Weems.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories, his loving and devoted wife, Audrey Weems, of Plant City, FL; 3 sons: Howard Weems III (Tahler Butler), Brent Weems, both of Lakeland FL and Charles Rourk III (Ashley) from Celebration, FL;1 daughter: Latoya Rourk, Valrico, FL; 1 sister: Erica Williams, Orlando, FL; 2 brothers: Anthony Weems Sr., of Plant City, FL and Michaelis Gonzalez (Toni), West Palm Beach, FL; sister-in-law: Stephanie Marion (Eugene) of Ohio; brother-in-law: Hosie Grimsley (Wanda) of Lutz, FL; mother-in-law: Catherine Grimsey (Hosie Sr.); grandchildren: Nathaniel Rourk, Brielle Weems, Brent Weems Jr., Amaya Rourk, Chance Rourk and Charlie Rourk; a favorite uncle, Raymond Lee Sr. (Pat) of Tampa, FL; Bonus aunt and uncle, Shirley Ann Jones (Terry) and Robert Taylor Jr. (Shirley) both of Lakeland, FL and a host of other nieces, nephews, family members and friends.

The family appreciates all kind gestures during this time of bereavement.
