Dedrick Lamar Sykes

Dedrick Lamar Sykes was born on October 12,1984 in Bartow Florida to the late Teresa Ann Reddick and Lucious Sykes Jr. He passed on November 14, 2025 in Tampa, FL.

He was one of four children who lived in Plant City for some years and later moved to Lakeland Florida.

He attended Hillsborough and Polk County schools and graduated from Lakeland High School in 2003.

He furthered his education at Webber International University with a bachelor’s degree in business
administration and a master’s degree from FAMU in sports management. Dedrick grew up as a member of Jerusalem M.B. Church in Mulberry, Florida.

The family appreciates all kind gestures during this time of bereavement.
